Daniel Aguilar

Daniel Alejandro Aguilar Martínez graduated from the Universidad Del Valle de Mexico with a Bachelor Degree in physiotherapy.

Soon after finishing his studies, Daniel started working in a private clinic in Mexico. There he treated clients with all sorts of injuries, providing him with a wide range of experience in different musculoskeletal pathologies and techniques aimed to relieve pain.

Daniel has always been interested in finding new ways to help clients recover from their injuries. Making his clients understand and learn about the nature and cause of their physical trauma and by doing so help prevent future injuries and even improve their performance is his main focus and goal.

Since childhood he has expressed a great curiosity for the human body and movement in particular; that’s why he always aims to treat his patients in a movement oriented way.

Daniel has gained experience in small group training as well. He will be leading our Clinical Pilates Group sessions and small group circuit training. In Mexico Daniel was also helping adults recover from their injuries and surgeries through aquatic therapy. The Boeung Tumpun clinic's open pool will therefore be used to offer rehabilitative aquatic therapy lead by Daniel.

Daniel has completed courses in Dry Needling, Medical Taping Concept and Pilates. His professional interests lie in treating sports-related injuries, tendon pathologies, and rehabilitation after trauma or orthopedic surgery (i.e. hip or knee replacements, rotator cuff reconstructions, etc.). Daniel is, besides a certified physiotherapist also a Pilates Instructor. The latest course he completed is Dry Needling.

Obviously these specializations do have a broad impact on his approach towards his clients, where skilled hands on treatments are combined with goal oriented exercises to speed up physical recovery!

"My goal is helping my patients to become aware of the importance of exercise in order to help them regain their strength and mobility and thus enable them to live and work without pain.

I also understand the importance of motivating the patient to take responsibility for performing their exercises and treatments properly to reduce the time it takes to recover faster!”
