Clara Montes

Clara Montes is a Mexican Speech,-Language and Hearing therapist who graduated from University del Valle de Mexico Campus Queretaro in 2015. She has absolved interships in the local rehabilitation center and in an non-profit deaf children center. She received a master degree in motor skills development in 2017 at the university of Puebla. Whilst obtaining her masters degree she worked in private international schools which gave her the opportunity to learn different educational models and adjusting her approach of special needs children.

Before Clara decided to help the special needs children of Cambodia she was working at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) –on the Neurodevelopmental Research Unit. She was in charge of testing new borns and children up to 4 years old. At the same time she was a coordinator of a speech and language department in a Down Syndrome Center and worked as a hearing therapist in a deaf children center.
